叶炽坚1952年生于东莞，1975年毕业于广州美术学院雕塑系。1981年到西安美术学院雕塑系进修一年。现为广东轻工职业技术学院退休教授。中国陶瓷工业协会陶瓷艺术委员会常务理事，中国工艺美术学会雕塑委员会会员，广东省美术家协会会员，广东陶瓷协会理事，广州工艺美术行业协会理事。彩艺瓷陶艺工作室创始人和艺术总监。
Professor Chijian Ye was Born in 1952 in Dong Guan. He graduated from the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts in 1975. He finished Graduate Certificate at XiAn Fine Art Academy in 1981.
He is retired Professor of Fine Arts of Guangdong Industry Technical College. He is Member of China Institute of Arts and Sculpture Professional Committee, Executive member of the Porcelain Arts Society of China Ceramics Industry Association, Member of Guangdong Artists Association, and Member of Council of the Guangdong Arts and Crafts Association. Member of Council of the Guangzhou Arts & Crafts Association.
He was also the founder and creative director of CAI YI CI ceramic studio.
